CB, I don't know where you get your information from, but according to the Oxford Companion to WWII, the French Army suffered 90,000 dead during the invasion of France by Germany in 1940. For the entire war French casualties were 210,000 dead, including 40,000 Alsace-Lorrainers conscripted into the German Army, 150,000 civilians and 240,000 prisoners and deportees for a grand total of 600,000. I realize why you ask that question now, because of the quote at the bottom of my posts. All you have to do is look at the histories of WWI and WWII and you'll realize the answer. I think the answer is pretty evident. Evidently you don't know as much about as you think you do. By the way, that quote came from the movie, "We Were Soldiers". dallas, that sounds like an admission by you that Bush actually invaded Iraq to get good markets for American companies. Well, you are making progress. We know it was not for any reasons Bush gave for invading.
