1. I'm going to be a Tiger stadium rookie later this year. I was wondering.....how early do people start tailgating before afternoon games in Baton Rouge?
  2. Thursday :thumb:
    2 people like this.
  3. Early games severely impact my group. The ones with the parking pass and the party truck have to drive in from Mississippi. We essentially don't get to tailgate before morning games. No one is hungry and there is no time anyway. We just make a drink or two and head in.
  4. Get there with half a head on from the night before, you'll be good...
  5. Morning Tailgate...it just ain't right!
  6. I agree it's not right, but i'm stuck going to the Arkansas game, which I think is 1:30pm? No doubt, tailgating later in the day is better, but being from PA, I am used to regular Noon Penn State games. Beer still tastes good at 8am.
    1. Start the morning off with Crawfish Omelettes and Pineapple Juice laced heavily with Capt. Morgan's Parrot Bay. Have jambalya in a slow cooker set on low/warm, meat for grill marinating, sidedishes in the cooler or in slow cookers set on low/warm (depending on the side).
    2. Go to game.
    3. Return to tailgate.
    4. Drink beer/bloody mary's while the grill preheats and while grilling (turn those slow cookers up) and celebrating another great win by our Tigers!

    • Eat!
    • Drink!
    and be
    • Merry!
  7. Other than the Chimes, what are other worth while pre-game establishments to visit?
  8. Louie's Cafe for Breakfast, but it will be crowded with a line out the door.
  9. Do places like the Chimes open earlier when there is a day game?
