What also kills me is that we were trying to run finess plays like end-arounds, bubble screens, and pitch outs. You need solid ground to use the speed advantage. Instead of using a finess RB like Vincent, Broussard should of been used to pound the ball SEC style, and wear down their DL because everyone knows that they do not have any depth which showed after halftime. Broussard should have had at least 18-20 carries. I saw Wilkerson open some holes a couple times that would of been huge gains. We are stronger overall as a team. Pound pound pound is always best on a crappy field. Take advantage of your power...
All the missed tackles on defense didn't help us against the short route scheme OSU was using. There was a LOT of extra yardage in that game due to missed tackles. I credit some of it to the bad conditions but most of it was just terrible. I would have loved to see more of the run-pass option.
I'm not sure it's all of the O-Line's fault. It's not easy to open holes when you have 6 blockers against 7 or 8 defenders.
