Most Underrated

    After watching the 2003 NC :crystal: game again on my flight home from Scotland this weekend i was wondering who do you think was the most underrated player on the defense.

    I would say Jack Hunt or Eric Alexander

    I have to Alexander as Hunt did get a lot of recognition from us fans for sure. Especially after we lost to UF when he was out. Alexander was second on the team in solo tackles ahead of middle LB Turner, had 9 tackles for losses ranking 3rd on the team behind Lavalais and Hill, had 5 sacks 4th in that category, while also breaking up 5 passes and recovering 2 fumbles. And no one talks about him hardly at all, including me.

    He definitely deserved more recognition.

    it was scary too because he was a converted saftey who ran like a 4.4 and played like had been a linebacker his entire life.....

    i dont' think we can consider jack hunt underrated especially after he caught that hail mary vs kentucky in 02 :hihi:

    Yes, and he is an active roster guy, not practice team. Or at least he wass last year.

    Although he's gained much noteriety since then, LaRon quietly led the team in tackles as a freshman that year.
