I like Warner. He always seemed like a genuine and nice guy. I hope he gets the starting job and plays well, b/c he's 33, so he probably doesn't have that much time left. Plus, I just don't care for Eli. He's talented though, and he'll be around for a while, making all kinds of money. I just hope this year goes to Warner, as long as he plays more like his old self.

I don't know why people would fill good about Eli struggling?
I don't see what this is all about.

I think the NFL is much more fun for football fans when players like the Mannings live
    up to their expectations.
Such as when Marino, Kelly and Elway played.

I root for "all" rookies to do well from LSU rookies to any other team.
Its always great NFL football when you have players like the late great Derrick Thomas
and whoever else you want to throw in the pot.

Doughman I'm really disappointed that you would support someone that despises everything LSU. His whole family is a bunch of LSU haters and he played for ole myth. Normally I also pull for the rookies to live up to expectations and want to see NFL football played at the highest level. However I have a list of players that I love to see fall on their ass as often as possible. Meshawn, Moss and quite a few more and this year you can add Eli and the Soulja to the list. That thin high mountain air is making you giddy, time to come down to the flatlands and gather your senses. Hope you can come down one saturday night sometime soon and regain your bearings.:hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

Its very simple, I don't blame them for going to Ole Miss and dispising LSU
because once thier college football careers are over they realize they went
    to the wrong school.
Even Payton Manning was smart enough at least to go to a school other than
Ole Miss and had some success.

It must be something in the humidity in Mississippi or Louisiana.

If you or I went to Ole Miss we would dispise LSU because that was the school that kept us from having any kind of success.
We beat up poor Archie in the 70's and then we kept Eli from having an SEC
trophy so what do you expect?

In all seriousness I hope the Mannings have success in the NFL and don't care how they fill about LSU because they flat out got beat by us!!

I dispised Florida when Spurrier was there, the way we got beat in some of those games but you have to get over it and let it go at some point in time.

    BUT

I do realize this is what makes college sports and rivalries so much fun
