Saints release Emmanuel Sanders. You would think the could have at least gotten a late round pick for him. Releasing him instead of trading cost the Saints $2 million in cap money.
Released Kwon too. Would love to see him resigned. Malcolm Jenkins and Andrus Peat's deals reworked, saving $9.4 million in cap room. Marcus Williams' franchise tag will likely eat up most or all of that.
Yeah, the salary cap being 185 million did not help us any. I am not worried about WR beyond staying healthy, our young guys were looking awfully good last year at times, if they can put it together now I think we are fine there. And Kwon was a one year mercenary deal all along, and he man is he unlucky getting hurt again. That is going to hurt his stock.
