This must be the same decline that leads LSU to only lose to 1 OOC team in the past 5 years. Lol

Well, it underperformed from a National Championship year, you know. There ain't a team in the land, including Bama and Florida, that doesn't have peaks and slumps. LSU slumps produce 8 or 9 wins, not losing seasons. Did you think we were going to win 11 or 12 every year? In a league where we have to play Bama and Florida every single season?

It's crowded at the top in the SEC and everybody takes their lumps. Disappointed with 9 wins or not, LSU has been a perennial contender under Les. Bama and Florida have each suffered 7-win seasons recently, LSU hasn't. 9 wins may be disappointing because we came 2 last-minute plays away from being 11-2. Despite our pathetic offense, we played a lot of very good football last year and we're a better team this year. Everybody close to the team has said it.

It's a mistake to underestimate LSU in 2010. The schedule is rugged, but its made for a championship season if we win out. We'll more likely lose a few, playing six ranked teams, but Les will field a damn strong team this season.

Do we have issues?. Sure, but we've had issues every year that I can remember . . . and Bama and Florida have issues too.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

Agreed. All of your points here are spot on, and I agree with the "made for a championship season" part, if things fall in to place. We'll see soon enough.

Two guys worry me... Miles, and Crowton.
Miles at OSU trended upward til through is 3rd year then went back down... then for some reason LSU hired him.
Crowton started hot in most of his gigs, head coach or assistant, but by his 3rd year his offenses went into the tank.

Sounds like a bad pattern to combine.

You know, the first year Les went to OSU the Oklahoma Federal building was bombed. Then his first year at LSU, Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana.

Coincidence? I don't think so. We better pack him off to Michigan before the meteor hits.

I would ask Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Miami what Les Miles does to ACC teams.
