This hole was trying to talk about the great Weis on another thread and about how he justified his 10 year extension by earning 2 BCS bowls in a row. I see after he got slammed there he had to start another thread entirely to vent.:dis:
ND's probablem isn't that they don't have great talent. The problem is that they are over hyped. When was the last time ND beat somebody good?
With all those "High Standards" how can the collective fan base be so stupid?? :hihi: BTW, have you ever heard ANY sports analyst mention an NFL player's college GPA??? Duh! Outisde of ND, college football players get rich and they hire accountants- they already have a job, they play football. :rofl:

Apparently there are not high. If you are an Alumni/student. Long before LSU I learned to spell the Word "Academic" "ND's acacademic standards"
Watch it, sum of us ND fans gots our education rite heer at old LSU. Seriously, there is some truth to his statements, and to the replies mentioning Watters & Bettis, but I agree the location and timing of the post is pretty lame. Would've sounded much better if ND would've won. Hell everything would've sounded better. I'm one of the ND fans that doesn't like that kind of complaining. I think it's just an excuse for poor jobs by previous staffs. In fact this same kind of thread gets hammered pretty hard on the ND forums (might be one of the reasons for trying it here). Good coaches in the past have found ways to get the top athletes in, and Weis is doing it now.
Just think if Bradshaw could have passed his entrance exam to LSU.... ND might have more losses.... LOL
