" you guys just had your asses handed to you. all you have is "we are gentleman" and that won't fly because you just got trounced by gentlemen. the difference is that your gentlemen are losers. what you have really proven is how broken the BCS system is. notre dame is the catholic flagship, so catholics watch them and they get good ratings. they make money, that is why they play in BCS bowls. they are certainly not a top tier team. they would be routinely thrashed in the SEC by the auburns and floridas of the world.
He must have listened to ESPN radio this morning because one of their hosts brought up ND's academic standard (the same little blurb they put on the screen during the Sugar Bowl) and kept repeated saying, "and where was LSU's academic stats?!" I wanted to call in and ask him if he had forgotten the recent few years in which LSU has started having more and more underclassmen return for their Sr. year to earn a degree (and to help the team win, too of course) as well as the Academic Heisman winner last year in Niswanger.
I like your attitude and not trying to pick argument but it wasn't the "Previous staff" that tried the fake punt in our territory at the beginning of the game......to me that was bone-head and told his players they were in trouble.
