Does anyone remember the linebacker that we tried so hard to get from Opelika. He graduated with Melvin Oliver from opelika High, and was supposed to be the baddest MF in Alabama. Rowell maybe??? Anyway, what ever happened to this guy??
Think he ended up getting kicked off the AU team, problems with the law. Lamarcus Rowell now playing for jacksonville state. EDIT: was at Jacksonville St. ran out of eligibility.
LeMarcus Rowell was an incredible athletic talent but one with a nasty weed habit. Tuberville removed him from the team in '02 and he was sent to Juco for a one-year "punishement". He had the opportunity to earn his way back on the team in '04, but was disappointed that his starting job wasn't held for him. He decided to leave the team, a decision that was mutual in nature.
