Hearing from Danydon Oklahoma DL coach Jamar Cain is our new DL coach and Joe Sloan former interim HC La Tech our new QB coach. We pretty much already know Denbrock is our new OC.

I am hearing Cain is able, sorry poor joke but he is highly regarded. As far as Sloan you have to like anyone from La Tech when thinking prolific offense.

Glad Kelly is getting his staff together and we can move forward. We will see about WR coach and Cortez currently still at uga pending the outcome of that final game.

one would have to assume a coach of kelly's stature would put together a very good staff of assistants, OC and DC. It looks like, as this shakes out, he is doing just that. He's kept some and hired some really good guys and most seem to have ties to LA and every one has been rumored as a "good recruiter". Now, Kelly just has to get the team on board and get the ball rolling.

This definitely has a different feel to it than the last couple of OC/DC hiring cycles. With respect to the rest of the staff each one looks like a well considered selection and a good hire.

LATECH offenses have been kinda lame lately, but getting a coordinator with LA ties as QB coach I’m down with.

The thing I like most about CBK is he has a long history of success wherever he's been, so I trust his decisions on picking the right assistants.
