1. They beat Georgia and us.
  2. Good news is though Tennessee can jump UGA, and we all know how this could help us.
  3. NYT has 4 SEC teams in the top 10 and we're not one of them. That's not even funny. that's just sad.
  4. because they beat LSU and UGA.....(-.5) for UGA and (-.7) for beating LSU
  5. Texas is closer to us for 4th than we are to USC for 3rd.
  6. True, but if they are still within 5 spots of each other Georgia would go because they beat Tenn.
  7. BCS

This is much better than I thought it would be. We played a team with a losing record and we still closed 2.21 points on second place. Now is we win out our SOS and computer ratings will climb dramaticly.......
  8. Oh, didn't you hear?

As part of his separation package, Jayson Blair was put in charge of the New York Times Football Poll.
  9. does anyone have a link on how the NYT poll is figured?

I, for one, would like to know the method to its madness.
  10. Re: BCS

That is true, look at USC.....they won but their SOS went from 16 to 37. LSU just needs to win out and let the chips fall were they may. This thing is going to change each week, all we can do is win
and wait for 5:00 on mondays to see what happens.
