We keep score for a reason. You lose, you drop. Doesn't mean the other team is necessarily better. In all sports the better teams often lose to circumstance. But that's why we play them out. Even ND and their 1940 program lucks into this mess every quarter century or so. They will get rolled wherever they end up I would think.

Interesting how the human polls love them some FSU (6 in both) while the computers not so much. That is the reason I fear the thought of human polls only. They go for the names. If possible most sports writers would have ND, FSU, AL, USCw, tOSU and a few others alternate NCs and #1 poll selections.

exactly where did you expect a two loss team to fall??? IMO # 7 is very rewarding for a 2 loss team.
