  3. shill?? listen i was told to check out your site so i did..i was invited to join so i did...evaluate that as you wish....GV
  4. I listen to your show when I'm in the N.O. area...I find it kind of edgy. I like it.

1280 AM actually comes in pretty clearly here in BR in certain sections.
  5. GerryV, I listen to your show sometimes.

    BUT

The way you handled the Tim Floyd situation was bull****.
  6. lol...

I'm not sure I know what you are talking about, but it isn't Tim Floyd's (or Paul Silas, or Byron Scott's) fault that JMash and BDub might be the biggest primadonnas in the league.

  7. MarineTiger, can I get a link to that call? Tim Floyd called into this scumbags show and had to defended himself.

I'm not the biggest Tim Floyd fan, but this guy "Gerry" is a Jim Rome wanna be........
  8. Welcome to the Forum. Look forward to chatting with you.

  9. First off, I am not a Tim Floyd fan....never have been. I am not in the least trying to defend any of his actions.

But, GerryV goes on the radio talking about how Floyd's team should have won the NBA Championship (what a joke....give me a break) and whatnot so Floyd calls in and argues with him. Floyd ends up saying how everyone knows (I guess he meant with the Hornets and/or Saints) what a slimeball GerryV can be to people (talk behind their backs) before they end up after arguing.

I still do listen to GerryV once in awhile but I still to this day don't understand why GerryV treated that situation so damn poorly. Mocking the guy behind his back yet being so nice always on the air.

That incident alone is why a good group of my friends refuse to ever tune into 1280.
