Ok I hear most everyone on here talking about firing Offensive Coordinator Gary Crowton, which I agree with as well. The answer to the problem is who should/will replace him? Here are three guys I think would be a good fit at LSU. 1) David Shaw OC- Stanford This guy's resume is pretty solid. He has 6 years of NFL coaching experience albeit none at OC but as QB and WR coach. He has been the OC at Stanford for 4 years including this season, and Stanford has had a pretty solid offense through all his years. He brings a balanced run and pass scheme which I believe would be ideal for LSU. 2) Bryan Harsin OC- Boise State He has coached one of the best offensive teams since 2006. He is also the quarterbacks coach so he would be a great asset their as well. To make Boise State such a power on offense with lower class recruits, he has some talent. 3) Billy Gonzalez WR Coach- LSU You already know the drill. This may be going out to far of reach but he would be a quicker fix than the other coaches. He knows the players, coaches better. On the same note he is not quite as experienced but I believe he is much better than GC. These choices of mine are based on coaches LSU could reasonable hire. Say hiring Oklahoma or Ohio State's OC would be much more diffucult to lure. Anyway what do you think of the choices and who would you like to hire?

That has a little to do with the players they have. I love Boise's play-calling. They always seem to counteract whatever the defense throws at them. The Qbs are well-coached. It's not predictable, but it's not gimmicky either. However, I think Peterson is the true mastermind of that offense.
I think Gonzales would be good, but he needs to prove himself by sticking around and doing well for a bit longer. Iron out the dropping of touchdown passes, and he'll have my vote
