alot of the folks around lafayette are pushing to try and get yet another bowl in the state of louisiana.. call it the Cajun Bowl or some such nonsense... I would imagine that Lafayette would have a much easier time attracting visitors than Shreveport does... would likely be another sunbelt tie-in, with maybe the WAC or MWC...
We need to fire CSR. Not only did CSR's poor coaching cost us the game tonight against USM, he played a player that did not deserve to play. CSR is not the type of coach that those of us at ASU can rally behind. In short, CSR must go, he sucks.
I think there is some passion there in Lafayette for college football and over time the cimmunity would rally to support a bowl there year after year. As long as we don't have to see CSR coach in that bowl game for ASU ever again, I am ok.
