The rivals 2009 100 just came out. Russell Shepard who I hope we get is a 5* and the 4th ranked. Also Ruben Randle from Bastrop is a 5* also and is the 7th ranked player. Chris Davenport the DT from Mansfield is a 4* and 16th.Eddie Lacy the RB from Dutchdown is a 4* and the 75th ranked player.

I think they said Mike Ford has a good shot and moving way up but he was listed just outside of the top 100 because he didn't really play this year.

There is a serious lack of interest in LSU in the Top 100...

I noticed that doesnt seem like we take/took advantage of our success on the field to help with recruiting. We've got to do better.

Noticed there weren't too many kids (maybe 3) from Louisiana on the 100 list. Could this be blamed on the forced migration of all of the new orleans families from katrina to other states?

Rivals does a ****ty job scouting LSU and they admit it. Rubuen Randle, Chris Davenport, and Michael Ford should all be 5 stars. Eddy Lacey, Montrell Conner, and DJ Banks should be in the top 100.

Also Cierre Wood the #3 prospect is 170 pounds and runs a 4.67 but may go to USC so he is automatically in the top 5.;)

New Orleans isn't that great of a talent base. Most of La's talent comes from other areas around the state.

Rivals does a poor job of scouting Louisiana.

That jumped out at me too, particularly by prospects within the SEC. Very disturbing.

I was surprised Michael Ford was not ranked. Eddy Lacey and Montrell Conner are ranked in the top 100.
