This is the problem. I'm not sure that JJ is all eyes when it comes to finding the right angle to run an option. I think they run to the short side of the field to minimize turnovers for this very reason.
M. Randall used to drop back to pass, looking to run. I find JJ running the option without looking to option, if that makes sense. I do love watching him play though. Flicks the ball out like JR though not AS strong/accurate YET.
As I said, it's been fine (ok). Nothing to write home about, but it has been giving us a pretty good yards per carry average (better than the rest of our rushes, I can guarantee you that).
