If Miles made a commitment I guess he had to follow through on it, but considering the economic situation the state is in I don't know if this was the right time to do it. I realize the state did not contribute to the increases, but it may not go down well with a lot of people.

If people want to see championships, gotta pay the piper.

Not to mention athletics contributes financially to academics. Its in everyones best interests that a self supporting ath dept do what it takes to stay successful so it can keep contributing.

You would be surprised how many don't realize this.
