Why not Texas and Texas A&M in the SEC West...Clemson and FSU in the SEC East. That would add balance and build a great conference...imho.:geauxtige
I could only imagine what that would do to the Weak 12 and the ACC .....nice senario though it would be really interesting ....the SEC would have to drop a couple of teams too though
Adding USC and Oklahoma, combined with Miami and Virginia Tech would add more balance as well. And welcome to the board!
what would the conference be like if georgia tech and tulane stayed in the sec......yall do remember they were there right?
had those teams stayed in the sec they would be much better teams... tulane especially as they would attract those LSU rejects from Louisian and Mississippi, which is still plenty to be an upper tier sec team..
   :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:    Lets just invite a few perennial top 10 teams to join our conference. That way during the season we can play the best to be the best. Sure, the conference champion will likely have a couple losses each year but who would be able to argue against our conference champion as the best!?   Fuzzy logic thread!
yeah.. one big superconference Northern Division Notre Dame (gets in due to historical legacy) Michigan Ohio State Virginia Tech Tennessee (should be back) Penn St. Southern Division LSU USC Texas OU Miami Florida (weak now but should be back soon) Actually should be Southeast against everyone else..
I know that this is all very hypothetical and just a "what-if" thread, but why in the hell would you want to add any more powers to the SEC? It is already the toughest (noticed that I didn't say "best") conference in the land. Teams beat up on each other week after week after week. It doesn't matter who you're playing, Alabama or Kentucky, you're going to get banged up in this league. I can't really say the same about other conferences. The Big 10, however... I think the problem there is that they're just devoid of any disparity at all. The teams are just plain irregular. I think LSU would do well in the Big X.
