Not at all. The lower bowl could be replaced on site. What I said was that it couldn't be done without missing a season and that a Joe Dean study showed that it would be cheaper to build a new stadium.

was that the reason we built the east side upper deck during his reign. besides, the way i see it, the next expansion in the stadium will be a complete renovation of the south end zone, meaning tearing down the south end zone, dorms and all, and replacing it all with a bigger and better section.

But, you also said you expect to see a new tiger stadium in 15-20 years, that sir, in my opinion is preposterous.

It's more likely that a new stadium will be built in 20 years than Tiger stadium standing forever! I'll bet you a case of mexican beer.

Wow, what a productive response. You are completely happy with the stadium as is and would like to see absolutely no upgrades at all to concessions, restrooms, or anything else.

we would probably benefit from taking a look at the cotton bowl renovations to help with renovation tiger stadium

Don't forget the fact that the Cotton Bowl was replaced by a bigger, newer stadium

yes, the will not be played there after 2009, but the red river rivalry and several other games will continue as scheduled. although, i think cotton bowl officials are trying to make the cotton bowl a BCS game, which is why the move was made.

If they did renovate Tiger stadium and lose a season or so, where do you think we would play our games?

The Superdome is the only stadium in the state big enough since the demolition of Tulane Stadium. The Superdome would suck.
