Not many people will remember Frank's Place, a very good sitcom that only lasted 2 seasons. It starred Tim Reid who played Venus Flytrap on WKRP. He was a college professor from Boston who inherited his father's restaurant in New Orleans and moved to NOLA to run it.

I looked it up because I wondered why I had missed a sitcom about New Orleans when I was living in New Orleans. It was on for two seasons - 1987 and 1988. My twins were born in 87. Didn't see a lot of TV in those years.
