    Pat Bowlen, principal owner of the Bronocs passes away from complications with Alzheimer's.

    Pat Bowlen, the principal owner of the Denver Broncos since 1984, passed away Thursday night at age 75 after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
    The Broncos released a statement from the Bowlen family just after midnight in Denver announced his passing.

    “We are saddened to inform everyone that our beloved husband and father, Pat Bowlen, passed on to the next chapter of his life late Thursday night peacefully at home surrounded by family.

    Without cheating, can anyone name the first person that actually died in this nearly 10 year old thread? Not who was picked to die, as the original intention of this thread was to actually pick a celebrity death, not announce when one occurs. I actually went back and looked and was reminded of a ton of people who used to be regulars here, but have since moved on.

    No one will get it without cheating. It was Les Paul and it was about 8 pages and #77 post in. Still cool take a trip down memory lane remembering some of the regulars from 10 years ago, for those still around from back then.
