  5. Alan Arbus, who played the recurring character Dr. Sidney Freedman on M*A*S*H, has died at age 95. "Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice: drop your pants and slide on the ice." (He said that line on one of his first appearances, and repeated it as his walk-off line in the series finale.)
