I'm not sure what we'll move to- if we move up at all. I would guess maybe 9 or 10. What I'm really curious about is what will Penn St move up to. They are now 5-0 (?) with a win over the OSU. They are only ranked 16. IMO they have to move into the top 10. Good for Joe Paterno.

If they move ahead of us, then they deserve it.

He needs to retire after this season. Especially if he gets them into Jan 1st bowl.

70+ years old, gotta go out on a good note.

Both Tenn. & OSU lose in the top 10. I think LSU moves to #10 and Penn. St. moves to #9. I would be interested to see how far Tenn. falls since they got their arses handed to them by Georgia. LSU fell 8 spots after we lost to Tenn. Tenn. should fall back to 16. Just my take.

Let's see, heading into tonight (and their results today), the top 11 were:
    1. USC W
    2. Texas W
    3. VT W
    4. Florida State W
    5. UGA W
    6. Ohio State L
    7. 'Bama IDLE
    8. Tennessee L
    9. Miami W
    10. Cal W
    11. LSU! W

Given Penn State's win over Ohio State, if they move up and jump us then so be it. Like someone said, they deserve it and at 6-0, you can't really argue with the pollsters if they jump ahead of a 3-1. But even if they do, it should be VERY save that we enter next week at least at #10.

I would project the new top 10 to be:
    1. USC
    2. Texas
    3. VT
    4. Florida State
    5. UGA
    6. 'Bama
    7. Miami
    8. Cal
    9. LSU!
    10. Penn State

Though, like I said, I won't be disappointed if PSU is 9 and we're 10, but I think it's kinda hard to jump a team 7 full spots in one week....but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

LSU will be #8 in AP

Unless an undefeated #16 Penn State jumps us!

Cal lost to UCLA tonight. Bump us up to #8:thumb: . If we take care of business the rest of the year we'll get what we deserve. Everyone in front of us in undefeated and will fall behind us if we lose (except maybe the condoms depending on how they lose). We don't deserve to be higher than any of those undefeated teams. Most will lose and we can still finish top 2 or 3. IF we win out. Won't be easy and probably won't happen. It's just nice to know that the Tenn loss, no matter how bad it hurt, won't necessarily ruin the season.

I dunno. I don't think there's any way we jump Cal, who beat the 20th ranked team tonight.... Nor do we jump Miami, who put up, what? 52 points in their win vs Duke?
