Day One At The Combine

LSU senior defensive end MARCUS SPEARS will not be doing a full workout with his group over the next few days, as he suffered a minor knee injury, while training for the Combine. It is not considered a serious injury (strain at worst), but for precautionary reasons he will wait until the school's Pro Day before working out. ...

LSU senior offensive lineman BEN WILKERSON was 6036, 300 pounds at his weigh-in, and will not be doing a full workout with his group over the next few days. He still has about a month left of rehabbing his left knee, as he suffered a torn patella tendon during the season. Said he may try to workout at LSU's Pro Day on March 9th, but is most likely to set a secondary date for scouts/position coaches to see him closer to late March or early April when he might have the chance to perform all or most of the combine-type activities.

Nothing on Daniels or Webster.

I wish the combine was covered on one of the "regular" sports channels. Isn't it on the NFL Network ?

Ronnie Brown just ran a 4.40 forty time...wow...

Clarrett ran a 4.82...that did not look good at all.

This Broughton kid from The Citadel ran a 4.5 at 250 freaking pounds!

Yep, I just saw that, too. I really think Ronnie Brown is going to be a stud on the next level.

I just can't see Clarett getting selected earlier than the 4th round. So much hype, so little reason for it.
