Mel Kiper has updated his big board after the recent combine in Indianapolis.

Note Pollack has fallen off the board (out of the top 25). Also interesting that he projects Ronnie Brown ahead of Cadillac. I have said all along I thought Brown would go first since he is more the typical NFL RB.

Saban always stated that RB was a better overall back than Caddilac. I hope NS takes Brown with the 2nd overall pick. He's got less miles(pun intended) on his body than Benson & Saban has seen first hand what type of runner he is. Hell, even Brandon Jacobs will probably get picked within the first 3-4 rounds.

I like both of them, but I always thought Ronnie Brown was the better RB of the two.

I read one heck of a lot but I seem to miss quotes attributed to Saban and others as I sure never heard him rate Brown and Cadillac against each other.

Not to take anything away from Ronnie Brown, but I still think Caddy is the best back in this draft. He is shifty, but he runs hard. You can't measure heart and desire with a stopwatch. Small backs have been very successful in the NFL recently. But his tenacity could be his downfall in the form of injury. To be honest, I have a feeling they could both be All-Pro-franchise type backs. As for Benson, I just don't know if he has the elusiveness to be great.

The Pollack pick would be a steal because you also get David Green automatically. Nothing can come between hetero lifemates, not even the NFL Draft.

I like Brown as the better NFL prospect not only because he is the best rounded I believe, but Caddy has proven to be a bit injury prone, something that does not traslate well into the NFL at all, especially at the Running Back position.

I'm not sure this would be a steal though. Seems to be a reverse synergy.
