Yep, this would be his 2nd 4 TD game. He has to be in the discussion.
  2. Well, despite the loss, he still has 18 rushing TDs and 20 total.
  3. Chad Pennington 299 446 67.0 29.7 3,453 7.7 230.2 17 7 96.4
    Peyton Manning. 364 548 66.4 36.5 3,907 7.1 260.5 26 12 93.8

I know you guys think Manning's stats have to be so much better than Pennington's, but actually they are not.

Pennington the #2 QB rating in all of the NFL.

If Pennington goes into New York and throws 3 TDs and wins that game.....just sayin
  4. I think Peterson just took himself out of consideration.

Williams may very well have replaced him.
  5. Williams and Turner passed by him today imo.

As for Pennington and Peyton each have been extremely valuable, but you cant seperate them by stats. It is a team game after all.
  6. Forgot about Turner, but the year Ryan has had will take away from him getting his just due.

I agree about the stats, but to just dismiss Pennington entirely because he isn't as sexy a choice as Manning is not acceptable to me (not directed at you). I just think the stats show it isn't just smoke and mirrors down here in Miami, it has ALL to do with Pennington leading this TEAM.
  7. even though he isn't even lined up at QB for about 15-20% of the game.
  8. That lasted for all of 2 games, and now it's used very sparingly, sometimes not at all. ;)
  9. I know, I'm just picking on you.

He had a great season, no doubt.

I just think if he were the QB last year, they'd have still been 1-15, whereas if Trent Green would have been the QB this year, they'd still be close to 9-7.
  10. Yeah that's showing little or no respect for him, basically.
