This is not exact but all Crawfish said was: "Hey coach, I am really proud of the way JaMarcus Russell stepped up and make the big plays on Saturday night."
Well.. then Saban said something like: "What is your point? He was 9 for 26, fumbled once, threw a terrible pass on fourth down....... etc etc etc.." Then he went on to lecture people about booing Randall and talked a lot about how people should support a guy who has shown such dedication to the LSU program.
I still say much of the booing was at the entire offense and not directed solely at Randall. Most around me just couldn't believe the way the offense fell on their face. I'm not justifying any booing at all, I just feel that Randall was not the sole target that he has been made out to be both here and in the press. As far as crawfish goes, a land mine doesn't care who steps on it!!!!! Sounds like he just stepped in the wrong place at the wrong time. lol well jim hawthorne said we have crawfish on the line, welcome to the show crawdad, you're on the air with CNS. crawdad said hey coach then just kinda mumbled that he thought jaMarcus played well during the game and looked pretty good for a freshman. Coach Nick seemed to be waiting for a question then when there was none, he took it as his cue to ponder that statement.... Why would you think jamarcus played well? He was only 9 for 26, a fumble, made an errant pass on 4th down, etc. then commented on how Marcus played about the same as jamarcus and we need him also and fans shouldnt boo...and then he went into a rant how WAFB ran a poll on the QB situation and how wrong it was and if there is to be a poll it should be on him or the coaches who are getting paid. he went on a freaking diatribe while poor crawfish had to just sit there for quite awhile. man, it was funny. edited with comment**** I actually give the call no justice. it was 100 times funnier hearing it live. I think CNS is a tigerforums lurker and knew who crawfish was.
