That may be true, and I certainly agree Ro was most likely the best game time QB to play at LSU . . . but there were politics involved in Booty starting over Ro. The team responded to Ro on the field, you could see it from the stands, the other players flat out wanted to play for Ro. I don't want this to get this too off topic, so I'll just say that there was alumi pressure, recruiting concerns, and other factors that were not really all that public. Anyway, we are beyond that kind of thing now. I know, and no one will disagree, that Saban is the best thing to ever happen to this football program. I don't think if Randell starts, that Saban is doing it out of pressure, spite, or outside factors. It would be because he feels it gives us the best chance to win. It's not like Russell will never see the field if Randell starts, I assume Saban has some kind of package that will depend on using two QBs this year.
Crawfish, I heard it. Saban was waiting to pounce on the FIRST caller that said anything about the qb situation. He seems pretty pissed about the poll and about some of the fans treatment of Randall. CNS was directing his comments to the so called "fans" that were booing Randall. Crawfish was just started it by praising Russell. :geaux:
