1. What else is LF7 supposed to say?

  2. Talk about a loaded question. Was he supposed to say fiction? Then of course the headline says what it does. If I was Fournette I would refuse all interviews with the Advocate from now on.
  3. Yep, and it will probably be turned into bulletin board material by the Bama media.
  4. The live interview was on SEC Now. Peter Burns was the one doing the interviewing.

  5. I don't know if this would qualify as bulletin board material. He also gave a bunch of compliments to Alabama after the quote and specifically named players he admired.
  6. It's all we got, it's a good start. And the media in Alabama just highlight the important stuff.

Proper reply, LF7 to Peter Burns: "it's crap questions like that, that got you fired from your last gig."
  7. I think he's pointing out The Advocate because they are the ones that put out a misleading headline based on the SEC Now feature....i.e. LF7 was basically asked, will LSU win, yes or no, and The Advocate made it seem like he pulled a Joe Namath guaranteeing a Super Bowl win.
    TheRealist and TUSKtimes like this.
  8. That would give lie to their stated preference for conference champions. More likely the 1 loss loser of tOSU UM game (assuming tOSU wins). We can't guess what the effect of LAU running the gauntlet through the SEC CCG would be. I would hope the first few weeks under Les would be discounted.
  9. The committee will view LSU as a 8-0 undefeated team, not an 10-2 team.

Case closed, we would be the only SEC team they would consider for the playoffs. My bet is that they would put us in over a 1 loss Big 5 conference team.
