@BornOnTheBayou No one's going to claim him off waivers. They'd have to pay $7 million-plus just for the rest of this season, then he becomes an unrestricted free agent. Hopefully once he clears waivers the Saints can sign him, rumor has it Kwon A. is already in his ear about coming down here. He's needed. Four different receivers dropped passes to kill the Saints' first four possessions today. Any one of those could have cost us the points we needed for the win.

I was in agreement, but after realizing today the only reliable so-called WR's we have might be Harris and Smith, I'm not so sure.
Wasn't sure what the length of the deal was, and 1-year starts to make some sense. He's likely sacrificing touches for what he thinks is the best opportunity to get a ring this year. Its interesting though, that the Rams always seem to have the cap room to make a big mid-season personnel move every year.
