They are supposedly getting real tough on the booze. No walking around campus with drinks, some kind of rule about "distributing" if you are handing out drinks, and believe it or not, there are certain "designated" smoking areas. Any alcohol left unattended and accessible is poured out. It has to be locked up. And it is not a good idea to get "lead footed" or have open containers in your vehicle. Hope you all have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
Is this only for underaged or everyone? How do you tailgate if you can't have a drink? Or is it just the ones going into campus with a bottle of whiskey hanging out their pocket that will get in trouble? We were planning on setting up wherever we park and grilling, etc. Is there a good parking lot that we can do this without getting hassled? A place that the car won't get keyed is also a bonus. I'm not planning on walking around campus with a sign advertising I'm drinking, but I don't want to be stuck hiding in my car drinking a beer. I would also like to see campus, preferably while drinking a beer. Is that not allowed? Sorry for the questions, but I have heard horror stories about this, and this is not a good time at all for me to be getting into more alcohol-related trouble.
