That 40 yard run at the end cost LSU some stats. LSU had them for -13 rushing yards until that 40 yard gain. Vandy netted 27 yards rushing, 115 yards passing. Total net yards = 142 Without that run, net yards were right at 100! That's a big difference from what we've been seeing. Cutler was sacked 3 times for 21 yards with a 2 picks and 0 TDs and ZERO BIG PLAYS! Those are Saban Defense numbers, even if it was against against a crummy and ****less (after LSU pounded them) Vandy O-line. Game Ball to the Defense! Zero big plays allowed!
Wait, wait wait. This was Vanderbilt. Pellini coached a good game, but Vanderbilt has far inferior talent. We may be able to put pressure against quality teams, but butter gives a hot knife more resistance than Vandy is able to give us.
