I have an extremely low tolerance for stupidity and, frankly, I am being pushed to my absolute limits. I'm going to take some time off from here, pop a chill pill and check back in later when the hysteria has subsided. I trust that after things calm down we will all realize that Nick Saban was the best thing that ever happened to LSU football and that he reluctantly left to pursue an unbelievably good opportunity, despite his strong attachment to our program.
That's true. It's sad for the LSU Tiger Nation, but very true. Only time will tell whether we can maintain the momentum, or revert back to 1998 form.
You were the one calling people stupid, I will call you out on it just like you call out people like it or not. What comes around goes around :thumb:
I for one believe NS when he said he took advantage of an opportunity. I also believe that it wasn't $$ but TOTAL CONTROL (as reported by ESPN News) I hate to see him go but the sun will come up in the morning!! :geaux:
I decided to leave too, theres no reason to stay here if the great SabanFan is going to put words or thoughts in ones head!
Very good idea. Most of us have an extremely low tolerance for being lectured to. Look SF, I agree with you on all your points except one. People are very disappointed today and have a need to blow off some steam. It doesn't make them stupid. It makes them human. Show some tolerence for once and let people vent a little. The sooner it's off their chests, the sooner things will get back to normal around here.
I really don't see what the big deal is? How can this be so important in your life that you are p*ssed off and have to announce your departure? If you need to step back, just step back already.
I think everyone was supposed to gasp and go into shock at his threat to leave and immediately start begging him to please stay and shower us with his wisdom and name calling. :bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :bncry:
i'm just pissed because i want those players to win that game. if anyone thinks this won't have an affect is crazy. think of the young men that saban recruited that are seniors and will never play in the nfl, what will their memories be? the national title? well they'll remember that but human nature is to always remember the bad things. it just seems to me if they lose there will be a lot of what ifs because of the way it happened. i am a LSU FAN, not a "SABANFAN", i want them to win and this does have an affect on them.
