If by "build," you mean have someone else build, then perhaps. He won't build anything. :)

If you are going to spend the cash then don't even screw around with it. Get something under ground and take chance out of the equation. When this stuff was going down yesterday I heard the weather man say something that I have never heard them say in the 10 years I've been in Oklahoma. He said "This is a tornado EMERGENCY, if you live in Moore, and are in the path of this tornado and NOT underground you will die"

I'm sure the above ground shelters are okay but screw that, I'm not taking the chance of going for a ride in metal box and landing who knows how many miles away from where I left. I just watch the news, if it looks like it could even possibly come my way I load em up and we hit the road.

And now there are students at my school by the dozens getting picked up...looks like we'll get bad weather right about dismissal time, which of course, means NO dismissal.

Shane, I'm glad that you and your family are safe and sound. Very glad to hear that Okie is ok, too.

The fact that so many children were killed saddens and bothers me. As a father, I can't even begin to fathom how their families feel.

Which is sort of what happened yesterday. If the weather comes in like that the schools will lock down and not allow the kids to leave. Gets parents all sorts of pissed off but otherwise you have chaos in the parking lots, confusion in the halls, and a lot more people out on the roads than need be. More than once this has happened and they will put it out on the news and radio, DO NOT COME TO THE SCHOOL, they won't release the children.

Hope you guys stay safe. Will be thinking about you all

Always the hardest part bro. I don't even like to think about it. Amanda and I were just talking about the ones that drowned and were saying, hopefully something knocked them unconscious long before their untimely demise.

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

Indeed. It is absolutely gut-wrenching to think about. It makes me want to go pick-up my 3y/o from daycare and hug him tightly.

I'm just glad martin's not here to try and convince us why we shouldn't be sad about it.
