www.collegefootball news.com is reporting Tennessee and Cal will play home and away in 2006 and 2007... and Oklahoma and Miami will do the same in 2007 and 2009. I, for one, am happy some of the big boys are "stepping it up" with their 12th game. Like Texas playing tOSU this year, this is what's best for us fans. Cudos to these guys... and I hope we see more of this.
A look at the best of Oklahoma's future non-conference opponents: 2005: UCLA 2006: Oregon: Washington 2007: Miami* 2008: Washington** 2009: Miami* 2010: Florida State 2001: Florida State 2013: Notre Dame 2015: Notre Dame 2018: LSU 2019: LSU * Tentative ** Currently scheduled for 2007. Expected to be move to 2008
Cal is working on their stadium upgrade, part of his contract. Sandy Barbour, the former Tulane AD, has said she won't be shy about spending a ton of money to keep him.
But rumors were circulating during last off-season about how he really wants to end up in the NFL and didnt like any job last off-season that was approached by him. I think he is NFL gone in several years
Working a 12th game in can do wonders. OU-LSU looks pushed out to the end of the decade, maybe 2010-2011-?
