That was hilarious!!!!! Talk about not having a clue.:wave: Brees was amused but not even slightly flustered.
We are having a serious discussion about it on the Saints board (saintsreport.com) and I can't believe that some on there are adamant that Oprah knew about it and was just doing it in jest. The flinching by Brees with his hand was clear and evident that he was like "damn woman what you doing?". He shrugged it off really well and did well to handle it without it seeming like too much of an embarrassment.
She had absolutely no clue. No way she would have done that as a joke. I disagree with a lot of her opinions but she really isn't stupid. No way she would have done that on purpose as a joke, it was an embarrassing bad mistake. She should have at least watched one short interview with him to see what type of personality she was interviewing that day. It also would have been obvious that he had a birth mark and would have saved a ton of embarrassment.
I am sure she had handlers/production crew that take care of all details like that. Someone is getting fired.
I think you're right. SHE is too smart to have gotten where she is by making these kinda mistakes. Her production crew obviously dropped the ball. I GUARANTEE she had some apologetic words for Brees after the show. Someone on her crew will pay a heavy price for that little miscue. But you gotta admit, it was a priceless moment. D Brees showed his composure. He's been living with it his whole life, I'm sure he's way past being embarrassed about it now. Not like he's got a third nipple as is rumored of some celebrities. LOL
Speaking of his birthmark, sometimes the thing looks like a smooth mark on his face (not raised). Other times I have seen it and it looks like the Mariana Trench. Anyone else?
Has to be make-up because after a game it looks raised and darker but on Ellen and other shows it looks subtle.
Yeah, not sure what's going on there. I have the ESPN the Magazine issue of a few weeks ago when Brees was on the front cover (issue about how New Orleans saved Brees) and for some ungodly reason they shot his pic from the right side of his face and the thing looks ghastly. It looks like a old shriveled up vagina, I kid you not. Not that I would know what that looks like, just an educated guess.
