I lived in Wichita Falls...very close to NB. I never went to the festival, but did have a lot of NB sausage. Compared to ANY sausage in south La, there sausage SUCKS! The people in North Texas just do not know how to make good sausage.
In a lot of states the grocery stores don't even sell pork sausage. About all you can get is Hillshire Farms beef sausage.
Sorry...I am a private pilot. My kids and I used to fly there on Saturdays to hang out sometimes. For me it was close.
