Reports are Grimes to BYU. James Cregg, Chargers Asst OL coach to LSU. Cregg coached with O at UT and USC.

Can't blame him for taking the next step. I was critical of Grimes at first and I'm still not sure that some of the bad OL play couldn't have been avoided but you gotta take into account that his first couple of years he was having to ask the impossible due to Miles antiquated offense.

Not sure how disappointed I should be. OL seems to be strong at the end of the season, but struggled early.

There were a lot of injuries early on. I just hope the new guy is even better, Oeaux knows just about everybody in football so we just have to trust his judgement on his hires. At least for now.

I was thinking the same thing, but you have to wonder what happened to all his acquaintances when he was at Ole Miss.

I was never impressed with Grimes product but when I think about it I thought the same of Stud. Stud is now doing well with the nuts, so I wonder if both were just bitten by Miles quirkiness. The new guy looks good I hope he can hang on to everyone both juniors and recruits.
