Now you’ve done it – you have mentioned that game. The damn nightmares will start again and it will take a big win at Washington to make them go away.
    Thanks.

:geaux: Nutt has had pretty good success over the years against LSU so I don't think anyone should or will take a team coached by him lightly. I think this will be a close game being decided in the final minutes. My hope is that LSU's revamped defense under Chavis will be the deciding factor in a Tiger win at Oxford. :LSU231:

That's been my angle. They don't have the overall talent level and the bodies. They caught us last year with malveto and the qb problem, no such luck this season methinks. I think the season rides on qb play, LSU! will go as far as JJ can take us.

Something about Ole Nutt that he seems to have our number lately. Even though they only ran it sporadically in the game last year, we still gave up big plays when they were in the Wild Reb or whatever they're spin on the Wildcat is called. That was Pre-Chavis though. I think we get them this year.

That's true.. but I think we've got Peterson who can hold his own in man coverage. That takes away half the field. If we can't defend the other half we don't deserve to be winning games anyways

who is the last coach to beat us 3 times in a row? Spurrier? was it Richt's 3rd win in a row against us last season?

There really isn't many SEC teams that you can relax on. Nutt's teams always come to play.

Quick now....who would you think to be the leading receiver coming back this year in the SEC? My first thought would have been B. Lafelle. Nope. There is one at OM who had more tds, yds rec, and total catches. And the receivers are loaded there. Hint---he caught a 86 yd pass in the fourth qtr to beat Fla.

Rebs won by 17 at TS and that was without a pick-six from Lee. No disrespect intended.

No offense....but last year, Snead "burned" Peterson for about a 35/40 yd td. Then came back the next series with what looked like the same play and burned him again for about the same and a td. However, I'm sure Peterson will be a factor. But he can be beat....same as anyone.;)
