How did LSU end up a seven seed? Fresno and Stanford weren't national seeds and LSU was seeded above Georgia and won the SEC Tournament. We should be at least the 5 seed. Anyone know the thinking behind this?

tournament is seeded when ALL 64 teams are still alive, and doesn't get re-seeded. So Fresno beating Ariz. St. actually falls in their "slot".

Whoever had won the LSU/Nebraska regional pairing would have been in the same spot on the bracket as we are.
