I say offer Ferentz 1 dollar more than what Saban made. He seems to be the best coach I have seen this year. He coached the panties off of Saban today!

In case you were hiding under a rock, Miles will be the next coach. This is like a bad Friday the 13th movie.

Have you ever thought that he likes being at Iowa? Maybe he doesn' want to leave Iowa for any college job in the country? The fact that Iowa beat LSU is proof that you can win a national title at Iowa.

I am not saying that Iowa is a bad place to coach. I am saying that Saban was the highest paid College coach in the counry and Skip should offer Ferentz one dollar more than Saban. I am not saying anything negative towards Iowa.(for that kind of money It would be hard to turn down.)

Contrary to popular belief, NOT everyone is interested in the money. It does make the world go 'round, but it doesn't buy happiness.

If a coach, doesn't matter who, is satisfied with what he's making at his current job, and provides for his family, and feels well taken care of, what difference does shoving more money in his face do???

Houston Nutt walked away from $2 million at Nebraska to remain in Fayetteville for $1.5. Probably because, unlike Saban, he knows that job security in coaching is extremely rare to come by. If you're one to have it, and are adored by the fans, you probably should keep it because chances are, you're not going to see that situation again.

Steve S. has already taken the S. Carolina job! Even if LSU wanted him and he was interested, would you want to hire a coach who would do that to a university (i.e., renege by taking another job before even coaching a single game for them)??? I wouldn't!!!
