With the low numbers almost didn't even shoot but glad I did. Had my 15 before 7:30 but it's slow I prob have only seen 25 birds and luckily only missed 1. Since so few birds was just shooting solo this morning but once I was done dad came and got his limit too butit took him a looooong time to get em. Just not many birds this year don't know what's up with em.
I've seen more in town than I have out at my field. Didn't go this morning...planning on going Monday morning.
Could be the weather. Even though Mississippi was spared the really bad shit birds have a sense of what's going on with the weather, Maybe the rest of them will show up soon.
Wound up with 40 between me dad and brother. But we killed dern near every one that flew so there ain't much left for the rest of the week. Hopefully the seed out there will stay good till 2nd season and get more in here
