Sounds like a piece that would be put together by LADuckFan or whatever his name was. Wonder where he is?
Darren Thomas QB ......C Managed the game well, 1 interception, but did not hurt team, was out of sync with receivers. Seem hurried but had time to deliver the pass, not good accuracy, nor touch. Was not hurt. RB......Incomplete Receivers..... D Dropped passes, poorly timed routes. Tuinei looks the same, pretty good. LaMichael James made a couple of nice catches, looks improved catching Freshmen receivers were dominated, could not get down the field. Overall offense..... D Some nice material, clear potential, but didn't complete assignments, no real basis for grade Offense responded poorly in the 3rd quarter. Disappointing.
Honestly, what are they supposed to say? There's still a remote chance that we meet up again in NO and it's not like they can publicly admit that they feel like they have no shot, should they have to face us again. Granted, our D forced the turnovers that led to 2 quick scores that probably broke their spirits, but if they shore that up next time we play, the game may be a little more even if we do not improve on offense. Of the 5 TDs we scored, only one was from a drive that started in our own territory. If we're more balanced on offense, then look for an outcome much like Sat. night.
Question...better chances of making it to new Orleans, Tigers or Ducks? If Ducks run rest of table are they in?G
That is a GREAT question. At this point, I have to say the Ducks have a greater chance to make it to N.O. Even though we beat them, the ONLY reason I say this is because they have a much easier schedule the rest of the way then we do. And that's the ONLY reason.
false. even if they win out, this loss will haunt them. because even the media realizes the lines dominated for LSU regardless what the stats say. thats the problem. LSU (the sec) exerted their dominance which reaffirmed what we knew and scared the rest of the non-believers who doubted it was true. Now they know. Its no myth.
