They are when a player is really hurt. Oregon wasn't running the blur offense when our guys went down.

as I said, they do it every game on every downed defensive player. its nothing personal.

watch 3 oregon games this year and you'll be bored of it. like me.

the players know whats going on. their feelings arent hurt.

Seems like part of the reason the blur offense looked a little more pedestrian was the left to right "spread" dance Thomas was having to do at the line of scrimmage to get the play to his offense above the noise. I'm guessing the 75% LSU fan advantage was having a serious effect on the ducks ability to execute.

That is a very good point, and I have not seen anyone refer to that yet. DT was definitely having to go to each player on the line and make known the play. If not, they may have been much quicker at getting the play off, and that may have had a cumulative effect on both sides of the ball.

ok cool, better than just a botched kick by Alleman

Can anybody who was at the game attest to the crowd noise and the effect it may have had on Oregon's offense?

Something that struck me about Wing's punting style....most punters get an inch or two off the ground on their follow through. Wing remains solidly on the ground, with a very smooth, high follow through. It was very reminiscent of Reggie Roby with the Dolphins back in the 90's.
