luckily for stoops, the guy not only is not a starter, he hasnt played this year. but as for the reason why, because the kid is an idiot!

The Oklahoma Sooners indefinitely suspended wide receiver Jaz Reynolds Wednesday for comments he made on Twitter.

Just after a campus shooting took place at the University of Texas at Austin Tuesday, Reynolds tweeted “Hey everyone in austin, tx………kill yourself #evillaugh.”

as much as i (intensely) dislike stoops, i give him credit for suspending the player. however, i cant help but wonder if he would have done the same thing had the kid been a starter.

Wonder no longer:

Tavaris Jeffries was riding a recent wave of success at OU. He had started three games in a row, including last week’s 16-13 loss in the Red River Rivalry.

That streak came to a screeching halt this weekend when he did not even make the trip to Lawrence, Kan., for the Sooners 35-13 win over the Jayhawks on Saturday.

Jeffries didn’t make the trip to Lawrence due to disciplinary reasons.
That’s as far as OU head coach Bob Stoops would go with regards to the matter.
