1. great to have you here bmy, you'll see that most of the wackos aren't long time members.

i too, have been impressed in the overall attitude on this board. the sky isn't falling after yesterday but there are some definite concerns. but looking around the country there isn't anyone LSU can't play with.

the attitude should be if we can get to ATL without any more losses and things fall the right way, what team is going to beat us in the dome??

but it's long way until there, if UK can beat us, than so can about half the teams left on LSU's schedule. the tigers simply have to improve on offense and some gameplan tweaks need to be made (see: why did we abandon the run thread). but other things need to happen too. you can't improve your talent midseason (but luckily LSU has a lot of that) but the things we do need to improve on we should be able to like executing on the field and eliminating penalties. if you get rid of the drops and the penalties against UK, we win the game. if zinger makes that TD catch this game never goes to OT. if lafell doesn't drop that pass on the last drive in regulation (which was short by flynn but still hits him) colt david may have been looking at a more managable feild goal.

we kept letting UK hang around and we paid the price. it's time to move on and focus on those damn war eagles. it's gonna be a battle.
  2. I worry more about penalties than I do about execution. It's easier to execute when you give yourself a chance. I think the penalties lead to a mis-firing offense.

We'll avoid penalties next week and come out strong. Auburns a good road team but we won't let them look it this year.
  3. I totally agree about the quality of the membership. I have been observing for some time and finally joined yesterday because of the good discussions and observations. My LSU flag is still poudly flying outside my house!
