1. In case you couldn't make it to 12:40 last night to see it. It was a good piece, very well done, and very positive for LSU.

Skip Bertman was interviewed, and did say that without a doubt the UT game would be in Tiger Stadium. He also made his case to ESPN to pick up the game so it could be at night, and that Lousiana could get back to their normal Saturdays.
  2. Good, glad to hear that. I DVR'd it last night and will watch it tonight. I hope the stadium will be cleaned up and the security will be tight for the UT/LSU game.
  3. I DVR'd it as well, but won't be able to watch it until Sunday........Isn't DVR (or Tevo) the greatest thing since the internet!!!!! :hihi:
  4. This time of year? Man, it's better than food and water. Still a good ways behind beer.

Nothing like having your own instant replay, especially to watch the big plays or to see if the officials got the call right, or to see how either side is lining up and shifting, or to see people in the stands or skip the commercials...
  5. Pretty insensitive comment, given the current condition of many in this region.:hihi:
  6. The PMAC didnt even look like itself on the inside. Those purple seats looked good. I thought the piece was very good. They did little interviews with some of the basketball players. Big Baby is such an impressive guy. The football and basketball players, not to mention all the other athletes from the smaller sports annnndd the student body really did LSU well in this one. Maybe after watching that, some of those that question why LSU got involved with the triage center will get a better respect for it.
  7. OMG, BAD mistake...meant football season...obviously.
  8. I know man I'z juss messin' wit ya.
  9. here is Bertman's exact comments.

"I don't think there's much doubt the game will be played at Tiger Stadium," Bertman said during taping for Thursday's Outside The Lines Nightly. "We're hopeful that ESPN having first choice will select that game and it will be played at night. "We can get back to some type of normalcy we're used to here and get a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium where we can turn our guys lose and turn the fans lose and for a brief time, three, four, maybe six hours, people can forget some serious, serious problems."
  10. AWESOME!! :thumb:!
