Overrated

Fresno St. turns it over 5 times in the second half and still almost pulls it off........50-42.

 

Told you guy about Fresno...Although they didn't pull out the win, they played really hard and exploited all kinds of problems for USC.

USC will be beaten by Texas....

 

Texas? They may get beat by UCLA.

 

As much as I'm praying for it it's not going to happen. Fresno had the offense to compete with USC I don't think UCLA does. Guess we'll see.

 

Doesn't matter. USC could've lost that game by 50 and they'd still be ranked number 2.

 

If USC is overrated b/c they had a hard time with Fresno, then is LSU overrated b/c they ALMOST Lost to AU, UA, and AZST? Is LSU overrated b/c they LOST to Tennessee who LOST to VANDERBILT? I dont think that LSU is overrated but every team has a scare. Remember when you want to talk about teams being overrated, remember your team could very easily be 6-4 right now. It doesnt matter how close a game is, if you win you win.

really... tell that to the voters who are so impressed by notre dame..

 

LSU had some close wins, but noone is saying that they are the best team in the land either. Their number three ranking is based on comparison to the performances of the other teams in D1-A, and probably about right IMO.

But, the juice USC gets reminds me of the OK "best team ever" talk from 2003. The ND and Fresno state games show that they are human.

Deserving of the number one spot? Oh yeah. So not over-ranked. But they don't walk on water and they are beatable. Thus they are overrated.

 

They are overrated because everyone keeps saying they're the best team in the history of CFB, while they are clearly not even the best team in the country right now. In addition to Fresno, USC also had a hard time with Notre Dame and Arizona State.

And your Tennessee jive makes absolutely no since being as we beat the ever-loving hell out of Vandy.

Personally, I think that we could beat USC the way our defense is playing right now.
